Xcel Energy contributes more than $11M in charitable giving, records 94,000 volunteer hours
At Xcel Energy, we want to do more than supply energy to our communities – we want to empower them. That’s why we continually support the communities we serve, from our matching gifts program and United Way campaign to our annual Day of Service and ongoing community partnerships.
From our poles, pipes and wires, we are connected to every community and customer in our service territory. Our employees live, work and have families in the cities and towns we serve. Every year, they generously contribute their time, energy and talents to charitable organizations and causes.
In 2018, Xcel Energy contributed more than $11 million in charitable giving and recorded more than 90,000 volunteer hours.
