Day in and day out, they brave the elements and face challenging work conditions to ensure that our communities have reliable power. Their commitment to safety, excellence and service is truly inspiring.
“This year, our lineworkers have faced the hottest temperatures that many of our regions have seen in years, alongside red flag warnings, tornadoes and other severe weather events,” said chairman, president and CEO Bob Frenzel. “Still, they answer the call each and every time, serving our customers tirelessly whether it be from a bucket truck, crane or even a helicopter.”
As first responders, lineworkers are often on the scene during emergencies, working tirelessly to restore power and ensure the safety of our communities. When others are told to stay home, they answer the call. Whether it's restoring power during a storm, maintaining our infrastructure, or working on new projects, we deeply appreciate everything they do to keep the lights on for our customers.
